BookR Rental Agreement

1. AGREEMENT

This Rental Agreement is entered into between the Owner and the Renter through the BookR Platform.

BookR is not a party to this Rental Agreement and acts solely as a technology platform facilitating the Transaction.

2. ITEM CONDITION

The Renter acknowledges receipt of the Item in its present condition unless otherwise documented prior to possession.

The Renter is responsible for inspecting the Item prior to use and reporting concerns through the Platform.

3. PERMITTED USE

The Renter shall use the Item:

(a) lawfully; (b) safely; (c) in accordance with manufacturer instructions; (d) in accordance with any instructions provided by the Owner; and (e) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

4. PROHIBITED USE

The Renter shall not:

(a) intentionally damage the Item; (b) use the Item for unlawful purposes; (c) operate the Item while impaired; (d) modify the Item; (e) transfer possession to unauthorized persons; or (f) otherwise misuse the Item.

5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE, LOSS, AND THEFT

The Renter assumes responsibility for damage, loss, theft, destruction, misuse, and wrongful retention occurring during the Rental Period.

The Renter shall be financially responsible for repair or replacement costs arising from such events.

6. AUTHORIZATION FOR CHARGES

The Renter expressly authorizes BookR and its payment processors to charge any Authorized Payment Method associated with the Renter's Account for:

(a) approved damage claims; (b) approved theft claims; (c) approved loss claims; (d) repair costs; (e) replacement costs; (f) late-return fees; (g) cleaning fees; (h) administrative fees; (i) dispute-related charges; and (j) other amounts properly owed under applicable Platform policies.

This authorization survives completion of the Rental Period and closure of the Transaction.

7. RETURN REQUIREMENTS

The Item shall be returned:

(a) on or before the agreed return time; (b) with all accessories and components; (c) in substantially the same condition as received, excluding ordinary wear and tear.

8. LATE RETURNS

Failure to return an Item by the agreed return time may result in:

(a) additional rental charges; (b) late-return fees; (c) account restrictions; (d) collections activity; and (e) charges of up to two (2) times the applicable rental rate during periods of unauthorized retention.

9. CLAIMS AND DISPUTES

Claims relating to damage, loss, theft, or wrongful retention shall be administered pursuant to the BookR Terms of Service.

10. NO OWNERSHIP TRANSFER

The Renter acquires only a temporary right of possession and use.

Ownership of the Item remains with the Owner at all times.

11. INCORPORATION OF PLATFORM POLICIES

This Rental Agreement incorporates by reference:

(a) BookR Terms of Service; (b) Privacy Policy; (c) Cancellation and Refund Policy; and (d) any other policies published by BookR and applicable to the Transaction.

12. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

By completing a Booking through the Platform, the Owner and Renter acknowledge and agree that this Rental Agreement is legally binding and may be executed electronically.
